Snowy walk on Hampstead Heath!

Still with no news of pending visa I took to the park today for a walk with fine musician and buddy Paul Heard he of M People fame. A short Overground train journey on a reduced train service from Camden Road and I arrived at Finchley and Frognal station. Then a 20 minute walk though the fine but snow entrenched streets. We walked the wonderful Hampstead Heath in North London during the second of two heavy snowfalls in the last week or so.

It was a wonderful escape albeit cold but my ten layers of clothes kept me suitably warm. We ended up in a coffee shop in the middle of the park surrounded by whiteness. Still and silent. It seemed that the whole of London's sound had been absorbed into the peaceful snow. Like a well sound proofed recording studio! The place was really beautiful and this sculpture resting in the snow caught our eye!
