Visa visa visa - No return within 2 months - Do not pass go - Do not collect 200 rupees!

It's still Seagulls over Camden as India clamps down on foreigners wishing to obtain visas for employment for India. In fact all Visas.

Recent announcements by the Indian Government on visas rules have caused confusion and concern among British visitors. Anyone on a tourist visa departing India cannot return for two months without special permission or production of an itinerary and documentation (ticket bookings) substantiating the need for tourism related travel. See the Entry Requirements section of this Travel Advice.
